Sometime after the events in Fable III, the Hero of Brightwall as the ruling sovereign of Albion, decides to turn his kingdom into a Constitutional Monarchy with an elected Parliament.

The Parliament of AlbionEdit

The Hero decrees the establishment of the Parliament of Albion, composed of over 400 elected representatives elected at least once every seven years, except in cases Albion is at war.  In case of wartime, the term of office of Parliamentary members is extended past the seven-year limit.  All new laws in the kingdom must be approved by the Parliament.

The Senate of AlbionEdit

The Hero's decree establishing the Parliament also etablishes the Senate of Albion.  There are 99 Senators elected by the Parliament, and they serve lifetime terms.

The Senate serves as a type of Supreme Court for the kingdom of Albion, and the Senators also directly serve Albion's ruling monarch as an executive advisory council.

The Royal VetoEdit

The ruling monarch of Albion has to approve of any bills passed by the Parliament.

In case the monarch is incapacitated, or the throne is vacant, the Senate exercises veto power over Parliamentary bills.

The Council of TwelveEdit

In case the ruling monarch is incapacitated, or the throne is vacant, a Council of Twelve is elected by the Senate and the Parliament, with six members elected by Parliament and six members by the Senators to exercise the executive authority.

Succession to the Throne of AlbionEdit

For a candidate to rule Albion as sovereign, he or she must be elected by a majority in Parliament.

Transformation into the Albion RepublicEdit

After the death of the Hero of Brightwall, the Parliament and Senate of Albion both vote to transform their nation into a Republic.
